Erin Louet is a skilled public policy professional with a proven track record of leadership and strategic problem-solving. As Government Affairs Manager, Louet ensures the Pac/West Strategies team goes above and beyond to exceed the expectations of the firm’s diverse client portfolio. Whether it be educational campaigns and coalitions ballot initiative campaigns, or government relations, she offers innovative solutions to overcome the challenges that come with navigating a complex policy landscape.
In her role at Pac/West Strategies, Louet facilitates the day-to-day operations for Coloradans for Energy Access (CEA), a statewide educational coalition that works together to ensure continued access to affordable, reliable sources of energy. In this role, Louet has collaborated with Colorado’s businesses, nonprofits, trade associations, and respected community leaders to help foster a bright future for affordable energy in our state.
Before joining the firm, Louet served as a policy analyst for the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), where she was a lead researcher on a variety of public policy issues, ranging from telecommunications to home financing. It was through her time at NCSL that she developed an expansive knowledge of the legislative process in all 50 state legislatures across the country.
Louet’s extensive career in public policy also includes serving as a Government Relations Specialist for the Michigan Association of CPAs; legislative aide for the Michigan House of Representatives; and Congressional Intern for then Congresswoman—and now U.S. Senator—Elissa Slotkin.
Louet is a proud Michigander who holds Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Michigan State University, where she was also a team member and Vice President for the school’s women’s club hockey team.
